Es gibt nur zwei kleine Mankos:
- Der Wassertank ist oben komplett offen, wenn man so wie wir die Maschine nicht in der Küche direkt neben der Spüle stehen hat wird es teilweise zum Drahtseil Akt den Wassertank wieder zur Maschine zu bekommen ohne unterwegs den Fußboden zu befeuchten
- Die Auffangschale läuft immer mit Wasser voll. Ist nicht weiter schlimm weil bis die voll ist, ist auch der Trester voll mit Kaffee und muss geleert werden. Auch wird sind die Kaffeereste im Trester sehr feucht, beides kannte ich von meinen bisherigen Maschinen (DeLonghi & Jura) so nicht.
Die volle Auffangschale führt mich wieder zu Kritikpunkt 1 - Ebenso wie mit dem Frischwasser ist es ein Balanceakt mit der Auffangschale zur Spüle zu kommen ohne etwas zu verschütten, da unser Gerät im Esszimmer steht.
Ansonsten alles wunderbar, Kaffee Crema und Cappuccino schmecken hervorragend. Die Möglichkeit sich bis zu 4 Profil + 1 Gastprofil anzulegen und dort jeweils aus 12 ist ebenfalls grandios.
Besonders gefällt uns, dass der Milchbehälter wo die Milch aufgeschäumt wird ohne irgendwelche Schläuche oder sonst was auskommt was im Zweifel durch die Maschine läuft und dann dort Schimmelgefahr verursacht.
Das ist hier nicht der Fall, Behälter lässt sich einwandfrei reinigen und leicht an der Maschine anbringen.
Alles was mit Milch zu tun hat passiert quasi außerhalb der Maschine.
Spannend wird es zu sehen was passiert nachdem der "letzte" Wasserfilter gewechselt wurde. Wir sind nun bei 3 von 8. Hoffentlich können wir die Maschine auch dann noch verwenden....
Now for the bad part, and it has less to do with the machine and more with Amazon. Somewhere, buried in between hundreds of pictures, links and descriptions, there is a link (that I missed when making a purchase), that this is an obsolete model and new one can be found. I would have gladly paid slightly more to get it since it has far more options, including ice drinks. But the information about this was so buried in between everything else, that it feels like Amazon does this on purpose to get rid of old stock. It very much took away from my enjoyment after the purchase and it feels like a very dishonest, nay, predatory technique.
In summary, skip this machine, get a newer model instead, you will get the same great coffee, but far more other possibilities.
